I always considered myself tech-savvy, but joining Eleven Fifty Academy opened up a whole new world of ideas. This course allowed me to grow and flourish into a job-ready developer, while also providing me with the tools needed to continue learning. My drive to continue learning is what makes being a software developer so exciting, it never ends!

Personal Life

I grew up in Anderson, Indiana and have lived here my whole life. Before deciding to become a software developer I was enrolled in college to become a Respiratory Therapist. I have been in the healthcare field since I was 16 yrs old. Ideally, being able to combine these two skills for a career would be my dream, I love being able to help people in anyway I can. I value honestly and integrity, while also giving my abouslute best in whatever i do.

Next Steps

Personally, I think my next steps in continuing my education will be learning JavaScript. I would like to be able to build my own website showcasing my work as a sofware developer, while also displaying it on a website that is unique to me and my skills. After that, I would love to dive into the world of Python and AI. Being able to train and learn from AI was one of the driving forces in pushing me to become a software developer.
